Growing up in a tiny, isolated village where being gay wasn’t even imaginable, I spent years feeling like something was wrong with me. Surrounded by poverty, strict religious beliefs, and extreme homophobia, I had no representation, no language for what I was feeling, and no one I could trust. This video is my story.
I’m sharing what it was like to grow up in an environment where everyone knows everything about you—except the part of yourself you’re terrified to admit. From the childhood confusion to the shame I learned before I even understood my identity, to the moment I finally found a way out, this video is for anyone who has ever felt trapped, alone, or “wrong” simply for being themselves.
In this video, I talk about:
✨ What it was like growing up in a tiny conservative village
✨ How religion and family shaped my earliest fears
✨ Questioning my identity with zero representation
✨ The breaking point and the moment everything changed
✨ How I finally started accepting myself
✨ My coming-out journey
✨ Where I am today—and why I’m finally hopeful
If you’re struggling, especially if you come from a small town, a strict family, or a place where being LGBTQ+ is not accepted, I hope this story helps you feel a little less alone. You deserve safety, love, and a future that feels like yours.
Thank you for watching and for giving space to stories like this.
If you’re comfortable, feel free to share your experience in the comments—someone reading might need it as much as you once did.
If I could make it out of a place where being gay wasn’t even imaginable, you can too. 🏳️🌈💛
