In this video, I demonstrate blacksmith tongs for beginners. It is a valuable skill to know how to forge a pair of tongs because learning how to make your own specific tools is an integral part of the blacksmithing journey. This video features box jaw tongs, which are also known as blade tongs for the reason that they are designed to hold flat bar stock.
