The End of an Era: NaNoWriMo's AI mess • Meredith E. Phillips

Oh boy, it's been a week. In case you missed all the uproar over NaNoWriMo's statement on the use of AI in writing, I'm looking through the latest developments here. Check out the below links for more details on this mess.

Honestly, I'm sad. I've loved the NaNoWriMo challenge for years and I don't feel like I can participate in it anymore. So it's NoMoNaNo for me, unless significant changes are put in place in the future.
