Hi Friends, today we are going to make a dish in celebration of Persian New Year, NOWRUZ, which marks the first day of spring! While I have already made the two dishes that I usually serve during this time (links below), I wanted to make something that is a little more old fashion and something that both my Mother and Mother in Law loved.
This food is called Reshteh Polo (رشته پلو) and the way I am making it now is a little different than how it was made in my childhood, but I think this version tastes better. Hope you enjoy and have a wonderful first day of spring!

Ingredients:
3 Cups of Basmati Rice
1/2 Pound Ground Beef
1 Cup Raisin (a little more if you want to add some when dish is ready to be served)
250 Gram Roasted Noodles
2 Onion (a little more if you want to add some when the dish is ready to be served)
1 Teaspoon Salt
1 Teaspoon Blackpepper
2 Teaspoon Turmeric
1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon
Cooking Oil
5 or 6 Tablespoon Liquid Saffron
