In this episode I share how I recovered in my Shopping Addiction in my twenties. In college and most of my twenties, I was addicted to shopping. It was another coping mechanism from being physically and mentally abused from my ex-boyfriend. Since I never processed that trauma, it showed up in different forms. In my twenties I was drowning in $10K credit card debt and decided to pay off the debt before I was married and had babies. It was the best decision I ever made. Once married and my firstborn in 2008, the Great Recession took a toll in our finances but luckily we already had no credit card debt. Now that we are finally more financially independent, that old shopping addiction is starting to appear again. These are the tips & tricks that are helping me modify those behaviors.
