I basically just followed the lyrics of the song but here's what I thought exactly to clear some things up.

THE STORY:

Elena is together with Stefan and Scott is together with Allison and yet... Elena & Scott can't just stop thinking about each other. They always watch each other in school and those little kind of things until they start having an affair with each other. Almost every day they make out in a classroom during school breaks.
Stefan has a bad feeling about it though and starts observing these two. He often sees them together and wants Elena to tell him the truth about it. But she just can't admit it and also can't break up with him. The same is going on with Scott and his relationship. He is not strong enough to break up with Allison even though he clearly loves Elena.
But after a while they want more than just meeting each other secretly in silence and so they both finally break up with their lovers (that's the part in the video where I desperately tried to parallel their break ups lol).
Well, and finally they choose each other and be with one another.

After I listened to the song by accident the day it came out I fell in love with it immediately and I just knew that I had to do something with it. So after some time of thinking I decided to go with a crossover and chose Scott & Elena. It's my 2nd time vidding them but sadly my first video with them got blocked worldwide (huhuhuhu).
