Collector's Cache #2 | Art Reps Around The World!

Welcome to Collector's Cache hosted by Matt DiTullio. Collector's Cache is a comic book, animation, and narrative art collecting variety show that brings together some of the industry's top artists, writers, art representatives, collectors, and personalities!

This week, Matt is taking us around the world talking to multiple artists' representatives answering the often asked question, "What does an art rep do?"

The episode first takes us to the UK where Matt chats with Tamsin Isles (   / tamsinisles   ) of Tamsin Isles Popular Arts and Illustrations, who represents Adi Granov, Lee Bermejo, Geoff Darrow, and Crisse, as well as Esad Ribic with DAC. She shares her journey to becoming an art representative, her approach to working with clients, and working with her husband Adi Granov.

Next, the episode travels back to the USA where Matt speaks to CAF's Director of Events and founder of TDArt, Tatiana Dykes (  / tdartgallery   ) Tatiana and Matt speak about Tatiana's large stable of artists, as she currently reps over 30 artists. They touch on how to manage workload/expectations of each artist they work with, all while being there for the client throughout the process of purchasing original art.

Finally, the episode ends in Italy with Gloria Bianchi ( https://www.instagram.com/simonebianc... ), the sister of comic book painter Simone Bianchi. Gloria shares the story of how she first began to work with Simone and how it was different from what she originally expected. Gloria and Matt then talk about what it's like working with family and one of Gloria's main responsibilities of scheduling/planning exhibitions for Simone's artwork all throughout Italy.
