The Angles Way is a waymarked long distance trail linking the Norfolk towns of Great Yarmouth and Thetford; a walk from the Broads to the Brecks. At 92 miles long, it takes anywhere from 5 to 8 days to complete and I have broken the walk down over 8 manageable sections.
Part 5 leaves the village of Earsham and heads up the side of the Waveney Valley to the disused airfield of RAF Earsham, first built in 1915. The route heads back down into the valley and explores Homersfield and Mendham before ending in the rural town of Harleston.
Distance: 19.6km
Ascent: 119m
Duration: 6 Hours 4 Minutes
