“Israel on Location” Session 79 Golan Heights Saar Falls & the Druz

WELCOME to Session 79 of our series, “Israel on Location.” This session takes us to the Saar Falls. Located in the Golan Heights, the Saar Falls is usually full of gushing water in the winter months. However at the time of this recording, the falls were completely dry (so sorry! I did at least provide a cover photo of the falls when full). Also recorded in this video are the Druze and all the yummy things they sell. A particular hot drink they sell is called sahlab. This is a creamy, milk-based beverage with a sweet flavor, often enjoyed with cinnamon and nuts. Many Israelis, Arabs, and tourists who pass by this place stop to enjoy the view, and the food and drink!
