My trip to Art of Living. The Art of Living International Center, located on the outskirts of Bangalore, India, is a serene ashram that serves as the global headquarters of the Art of Living Foundation. Founded by spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, the center spans a lush, tranquil campus and offers a wide range of wellness programs, meditation retreats, and yoga sessions. Known for its iconic Vishalakshi Mantap, a stunning meditation hall with intricate architecture, the center is a hub for self-discovery, stress relief, and inner peace. Visitors can experience holistic living, volunteer opportunities, and the vibrant community life while enjoying the natural beauty of the surrounding hills.
AoL has positively impacted millions of lives worldwide through its meditation programs, stress-relief techniques, and humanitarian initiatives. Many find it to be a source of personal transformation and a force for good.
However, some critics have raised concerns about issues like commercialization, the high cost of courses, and alleged environmental impact during large events. These criticisms don't inherently imply moral corruption but highlight areas for introspection and improvement.
