Universal Studios Beijing VIP tour

Hi travellers,
Going to Universal Studios resort in Beijing is very cool and paid for the VIP tour. You can book tickets to Universal about 2 weeks in advance via the app. You are with a group of others and the program is pretty set for which rides and shows you will see.

It is worth arriving earlier to have more time than I did for breakfast as it's a buffet and it's nice to relax and enjoy what is included in the ticket price. I paid 2200RMB for the VIP tour, included is buffet breakfast and lunch, 5 hour tour and 1 hour for lunch + parade, 14 ride fast pass for use after the tour.

It was not too much more expensive than buying a ticket plus the 14 fast pass. To be able to get around everything if you only have 1 day it is worth paying a little bit more as really maximise that, as really you get two fast pass, 1 part of the tour which is faster, then on your own with the fast pass, which gives you once to go to the front of the line.

Going in winter means you better wrap up, the Decepticoaster is so cold, as well as Jurassic Flyers and the Flight of the Hippogriff. There is no time to stop and shop on the tour. There are bathroom breaks.

I think it is worth it, if you are only going once then to see and experience everything, if you can afford it. I would not go in winter as there are reduced hours and I did not have enough time to get around all the rides again with my express pass after the tour before the park closed.
