The true nature of God is "agape", His unconditional Love. To love is to know God. The God who is "Agape" has an eternal onto-relation with us. He didn't create us out of a need; the Father created us to share with us the same relationship He has with His Son. In this light, the monogenetic Son, Jesus Christ, was sent on an apostolic mission by the Father, to make manifest and unveil God's eternal love for us. We are loved by God as sons of the same quality as His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ.
