Today, we visit the J&L Narrow Gauge Railroad in Youngstown, OH, where my girlfriend Erin and I are proud crew members and volunteers! Jones & Laughlin Steel #58, built in July of 1937 by the H.K. Porter Company, was used in J&L's South Side Works in Pittsburgh, until she was retired in the 1950's and stored at Crown Metal Products for some time. Rick Rowlands would purchase the locomotive in 2014 and its restoration would be completed in 2019. Come along with my girlfriend and I, as we take in the excitement of the first fire up of the season!
