After removing the better part of a reasonable sized Cypress stick, for a farmer, he then offered me the opportunity to forage through one of his burn heaps, in order to get some more firewood.
I turned him down at first, but then, after seeing the fairly good sized chunks in there, decided to take him up on his kind offer. The use of his tractor made the venture a possibility.
