Abi Ghanem argues that Iran’s leadership, especially the Revolutionary Guard, is unlikely to give up power peacefully and will probably respond with force if unrest escaletes. While Iran appears to have paused executions after U.S. threats, Abi Ghanem warns this could be temporary and hard to verify because of internet blackouts and lack of transparency.
