This video will detail the electronics used in the Photon: motor and propeller, ESC, receiver, servos, and extensions. Below are parts and sources for the parts on this plane. I have ordered each of these parts from the sources listed. I do not specifically recommend any particular seller but have had good experiences with each of these. Other sources do exist, and all sellers have their advantages and disadvantages.
MOTOR: (I have chosen a small, high kV motor for high wattage and small propeller. There are many other options for motor and prop combinations on this plane)

RECEIVER:
Too many options to discuss here. Be sure you have at least 4 channels if using straight ailerons with a Y-harness, 5 channels if using flaperons. I strongly recommend good receiver antenna placement and/or addition of a well-placed satellite receiver.
