The Unspoken Ingredient Tour Players Rely On for Ball Striking

Great ball striking isn’t about swinging harder or making your swing look “perfect”.
It comes down to one unspoken ingredient that tour players manage brilliantly — clubface control.

Get the clubface out of position and, quite often, it’s game over. Poor contact, inconsistent strike, and a ball that never quite does what you expect. In this video, I break down just how big a role the clubface plays in solid iron contact, and why so many golfers struggle to strike the ball consistently without realising the true cause.

From there, we move into the key transition move that allows great players to compress their irons — what I call “falling” in transition. This move helps you deliver the club more efficiently, improve low point control, and create that solid, powerful strike you’re chasing.
