Scripture: Philippians 4:10-20
Gratitude has a reciprocal relationship with giving—when we receive, we want to give back. And through our thankfulness of God’s provision, we give to others with a joyful heart, providing encouragement and care in their times of need. Our giving to others is a sacrifice to the Lord—a tangible expression of our gratitude to our Savior. We give, because He gave all. So, why is this so important? Let’s resume our examination of Paul’s letter as he speaks of the joy and contentment found not only in getting, but in giving.
