Gifted Conviction is still an S-tier option for Arc Hunter in Destiny 2, but with the release of the new Fortune’s Favour exotic in Renegades and the current seasonal artifact mods, this setup feels stronger than ever.
Fortune’s Favour giving Void Overshield, combined with artifact perks, lets our melee weaken targets, and killing weakened enemies grants Devour while spreading Weaken to nearby combatants. It genuinely feels like you’re playing Arc Hunter with the best parts of Void built in.
Because of this, the build ends up being a straight upgrade over Gifted Conviction in most endgame scenarios. On top of that, Bastion hits absurdly hard — you can almost one-shot champions even without Combination Blow stacks, purely thanks to the Weaken effect.
