“Midnight Sun” was written during a 2,500 km bike trip through Norway. I started the journey with my partner, but finished it on my own — cycling into the Arctic under the never-ending daylight of the midnight sun. It was one of the hardest, most beautiful things I’ve ever done. The song is about that mix of freedom, loss, and wonder I felt as I rode north.
I’m so thankful to Tvibit Tromso for supporting the production of this track, and to the amazing Ellery Daines for producing it with such care and creativity.
