One Antidote for Many Ills (Psalm 80:19) - Charles Spurgeon Sermon

A sermon delivered by C. H. Spurgeon, Lord's day morning, November 9th 1856. Here we see part of the reason why God was pleased to use Spurgeon so mightily. There is no pretense here; no pandering to his congregation; no self-praise. He emphasizes the importance of seeking personal holiness and zealous intercession; but also shows us the vital need for transparency concerning our weaknesses.
Such openness is always healthy. It would be good to see this in evidence today as a preparation for God’s blessing in revival.
