How To Pray Like Jesus

Everybody prays at some time or another. It is intuitive to call for help in time of crisis. It’s never too late to pray. But many have given up on praying. Usually it’s because they can’t get God to do what they want Him to do. But connecting with God is possible, and it can yield absolutely miraculous results. Here’s a glimpse of the possibilities: “The fervent prayer of a person rightly related to God accomplishes much.”

In every human endeavor there is usually a right way and a wrong way, an efficient way and an ineffective way, a wise way and a foolish way, and a lot of shades in between. How do we learn to pray right? The best answer is to follow the example of Jesus. He taught the disciples how to pray. Let’s learn to pray the right way, otherwise we might be wasting our breath. Prayer is not floating wishes off into the ethereal, hoping someone will hear and answer. Praying right must become a way of life; it is a moment-by-moment activity that actually connects with God. Jesus tells us, and shows us, exactly how to do that.

Some things can only be accomplished by prayer and no other way. Don’t be content to live without answers to prayer.
