First Time in EGYPT – What to See and Do in CAIRO 🇪🇬

Seeing the Pyramids has been a dream of mine since childhood – and I finally got to go to Cairo, Egypt 🇪🇬
The Pyramids of Giza were even more amazing to see firsthand, than I could ever imagine.
I went on a fascinating tour on the Old Cairo citadel, and of course I had to take a cruise on the iconic Nile river.
Cairo exceeded my expectations!!

My name is Alex, and in December of 2023, I quit my job, sold my apartment and all my belongings to pursuit a lifelong dream of traveling full time.

The idea of traveling solo, as a middle-aged man, is both exciting and daunting, so I decided to bring my camera, and document my experiences. Not only to share my journey but also in the hopes of showing how amazing and wonderful traveling and the world truly is. 🌍

My goal is to visit the traditional sights as well as the lesser-known places – on a budget – and do some volunteer work with animals whenever possible.
