If your ATV or motorcycle is running poorly and bogging under hard acceleration, the culprit could be a worn out component in the accelerator pump system. The accelerator pump is found on high-performance four-stroke ATV and motorcycle carburetor's and is designed to keep the engine from running lean by providing an additional squirt of fuel under acceleration.
In this video, Charles shows how to rebuild the accelerator pump and adjust the leak jet on a Keihin FCR carburetor, but these instructions will be very similar for all carburetors with accelerator pumps.
