Winter vlog ❄️🎄 Baking a traditional apple cake 🍎 Cozy in the cold weather

✨ In this video I will bake a traditional apple cake for my husband, our favorite in winter time. It's a simple recipe that you can quickly make if you want something sweet. A cozy day at home is the best day: a cup of hot coffee, some good food and a relaxing time.

Apple cake recipe:
4 apple cut in slices and 1 apple cut in small pieces
7 eggs
sugar
flour
butter
250 ml whipped cream
1. In a pan put 3 table spoons of sugar and let it melt. Cut the apple in slices and add them to the pan. Let them rest in the sugar until soft, then add 30g butter. (Do the same with the small pieces, when the slices are done cooking)
2. When the apples are ready we make the cake base. Separate 7 eggs, and whisk the whites. After about 5 minutes, when they form a thick foam add 4 spoons of sugar, when the sugar melt, add the eggs yolk. In the end add 7 spoons of flour and combine everything together with a spatula.
3. Grease the cake pan with butter, add the apples and the cake base. Let it in the oven for about 20-25 minutes at 160 C. Check with a toothpick if the cake is done (When the composition does not stick to the toothpick).
4. Flip it over when ready. Let it rest until cold.
5. Whisk the whipped cream (add some sugar if you like) and place on top of the apples, then add the small pieces of apples.
6. Enjoy!
