Color of Emotion - Nature Growth Vitality - GREEN - Dutch Pour

Hey Everyone! Thank you for being here with me today. Happy New Year - I hope 2022 is a fab year for you personally and creatively.

I'm launching my COLOR of EMOTION Series and this is the first creation I want to share.

Today’s piece is inspired by: the color green and the emotions we can associate with that color. What does green say to you? For me; its about nature, freshness, well-being, health, vitality to name a few. It's also one of my favorite colors.

Technique used: Dutch Pour

What I learnt: Wet colors dry a lot darker so be careful what base color you use. Also the key to great flow is ensuring your base color is consistently applied to the canvas.

Colour palette: All green; with a touch of gold and titanium white. Base color - Pebeo Green Earth; Winsor & Newton - Olive pale, Gold, Amsterdam - Brilliant Green, Olive Green Deep.

Hair/Blow Dryer: I currently use the Remington D3010 and always use the cool setting unless I specify otherwise.
