Hi everyone! This is Top 3D Shop, and in this video, we will tell you about the Piocreat G5 pellet 3D printer.

Piocreat G5 is an industrial-grade additive manufacturing device that uses FGF technology, which stands for Fused Granulate Fabrication. Such equipment is usually referred to as granular or pellet 3D printers. FGF technology and pellet-form plastic ensure uniform material flow, print speeds of up to 100 millimeters per minute, and high precision.

The build volume of the Piocreat G5 is a cube with an edge of half a meter. This open-source machine is recommended for fast printing of large-sized objects and can be used for prototyping and small-scale production.

The printer features a unique high-temperature extruder with a maximum heating temperature of up to 450 degrees Celsius, adopting interchangeable nozzles with a diameter of eight tenths to two millimeters. The layer height can range from two tenths to one millimeter.

The maximum temperature of the fast-heating print bed reaches 150 degrees. Piocreat G5 is compatible with a wide range of materials, including PLA, PETG, ABS, polycarbonate, polyamide, HDPE, TPU, ethylene vinyl acetate, wood-polymer composites, and others.

The key benefit of FGF technology is the ability to quickly change between print materials. The Piocreat G5 allows you to use several types of thermoplastics in one project as well as create complex functional prototypes and even finished mechanisms.

To render files for printing, it is recommended to use the Creality Print slicing software, which works on Windows, macOS and Linux. Print data can be transferred to the device via a USB connection or an SD card.

The Piocreat G5 is equipped with automatic calibration and print resume systems to continue operation after a power outage.

The unique technology and operating modes of the 3D printer allow using the Piocreat G5 for creating prototypes, tooling, housing elements, art, sculptures, and landscape models.
