📍 About This Location / この場所について
Arisugawa-no-miya Memorial Park is a peaceful green valley tucked into the heart of Minami-Azabu in Tokyo.Originally part of a feudal lord’s residence, the park now welcomes everyone with winding paths, a central pond, waterfalls, and tall trees that glow beautifully in every season.
I visited today to capture the autumn colors, and the timing felt just right — warm reds, soft yellows, and gentle sunlight streaming through the branches.The pond was a little cloudy, but the scenery around it remained calm and inviting, with reflections shifting as the wind moved across the surface.
The birds were quieter than in some places I’ve filmed, but the sound of the rippling waterfall added a soothing layer to the walk.It was lunchtime, so you may hear the soft sounds of office workers relaxing and chatting under the trees — an everyday moment of Tokyo that fits perfectly with the spirit of Gentle Japan.
This video is a simple one-take, nine-minute walk through seasonal beauty, captured slowly and naturally.
有栖川宮記念公園は、東京・南麻布の真ん中にある静かな緑の谷です。もともとは大名屋敷の一部だった場所で、今では誰もが散策できる自然豊かな公園として親しまれています。池、滝、小川、そして季節ごとに表情を変える木々があり、ゆっくり歩くだけで心が落ち着きます。
今日は秋の色づきを楽しみに訪れました。赤や黄色に染まった木々、そして木漏れ日がとても美しく、穏やかな時間が流れていました。池は少し濁っていましたが、その周りの景色は変わらず落ち着いていて、風に揺れる木々が水面に優しい影を落としていました。
鳥の声は控えめでしたが、小さな滝の水音が心地よく響きます。ちょうどお昼の時間帯で、木陰でお弁当を楽しむ人たちの気配もあり、都会の日常が静かに重なっていました。
今回の動画は、約9分間のワンテイク散歩。秋の静けさをそのまま感じていただければ嬉しいです。
