The main advantage of such speakers is the fidelity of reproduction in the low-frequency range, while maintaining rather small dimensions.

The "reverse side” of the translational line, as in structurally related labyrinths, is the criticality to the correct calculation. Significant errors in calculations will significantly affect the sound, unnecessary rattling resonances will appear, or an impressive unevenness of the frequency response.
