Today I explored a few, including Centralia, a town that has been on fire for decades and literally disappeared overnight, and chatted with many locals to find out why Americans live in these haunted forgotten decaying & hopeless cities and towns, such as Mt Carmel, Ashland, Aristes, Wilburton No. 2 & Concrete City.
