How to install LAMP server (Apache2, MySql, PHP), PhpMyAdmin on Ubuntu 14.04, 16.04 Using Tasksel

Step by Step Installation Guide :-
1) Log into ubuntu remote server using ssh or putty or if local system then open terminal and log in as root user using command
sudo su
2) Now you should update and upgrade ubuntu machine using commands
apt-get update
apt-get upgrade
3) Once system is updated and upgraded install Tasksel using command
apt-get install tasksel
4) After installing tasksel please run the command
tasksel
5) When run above command you see a window where several software packages are listed. From these u have to choose LAMP server by navigating to it using down key and select it by pressing space bar and then press enter
6) Now it ask for mysql root password , put your new password and press enter and confirm password on next screen and press enter, after a little time your LAMP server i.e. Apache , MySql and PHP are installed and ready to use
7) For installing PhpMyAdmin please run command
apt-get install phpmyadmin
It asks for mysql password please enter mysql root user password and confirm it and press enter
So Your LAMP server and PhpMyAdmin on ubuntu 14.04 or 16.04 is installed and ready to run.
