Building a cosy tearoom and a zen garden for Shino. There’s a lot of chaos in the world right now so I wanted to create a calm space where you can sit down and drink some tea and just relax for a little while. I hope you like this speed build-video of the process. I was inspired by the aesthetic of Japanese and Chinese tearooms and Japanese zen gardens but I’m afraid I don’t know enough about the history and traditions associated with those places to design an accurate representation. Please bear with me if some of the items I use would be completely out of place in an actual real-life tearoom or zen garden.
