With 2025 coming to an end, I felt it was finally time I put something together to highlight my favorite part of the year. This one’s for all the pieces of my heart that live an ocean away, I love you guys!!

Day after day I dream of nippy morning dips and flat whites to follow
Of gum trees and bird songs
Of jaunts around the park and afternoon tea
I smile of storytimes and biscuit stashes
Laugh about Australian rodeos and horse float sleepovers
About Bali with best friends and oopsie tattoos
I miss it dearly, day after day
Well-aware of the inability to recreate such a love, I’ll spend the rest of my life chasing its fragments
A bittersweet surrender
A heart swollen with blessings
A soul in search of what’s next
An ode to my life abroad!
