If you’re a donor interested in medical missions in Africa, we'd like to introduce you to Egbe Hospital in Nigeria, West Africa.
Founded in 1952, Egbe Hospital serves a 100-mile radius of small towns and villages providing compassionate medical care and bringing hope to many suffering who have nowhere else to turn for healthcare, surgery or maternity needs. Simply stated, the hospital is a lifeline to over 500,000 people in the surrounding community made up primarily of farmers, merchants, or cattle herders.
Our goal is to bring medical excellence, compassionate care to the sick, training to doctors, nurses, and midwives, bringing hope and healing in Africa for many years to come. Utilizing the power of technology we will bring tele-medicine, and documented best practices to build a self-sustaining hospital for another 60 years.
