Seperating Muscadine Peals and Pulp

The first step in making muscadine jam, jelly or juice is to separate the peals from the pulp. This is what I'm doing here. Then I explain how to separate the pulp from the seeds. If you wish to separate the juice from the pulp and skins you bring the pulp and skin mixture to a boil and then strain it through a cheese cloth. I find it easiest to first strain it through a sieve to separate out the really bulky stuff and then strain it through the cheese cloth.
