As the late, great, benchrest shooter Warren Page once wrote so wryly: "The best and worse things in life happen in the bed". In this second of two parts, the actual epoxy bedding process is shown, step by step. Though the working model shown is a Tikka T3 Hunter, every aspect of epoxy is clearly revealed, as it would apply to all bolt action rifles. Learn how to correctly prepare the rifle stock for bedding, and how to prepare the barreled action for professional results. Learn why you should not bed the entire action as so many professionals do, and why a two-point bedding system is far more stable, and will provide more lasting results that are not dependent on such elusive things as finicky stock screw torque! Be sure to watch Part I before this video, which is integral to the process, and essential for understanding and safe preparation. Only persons who are competent and familiar with manual skills, and who are capable of performing all steps shown, should ever proceed with this intricate and demanding process.
