Waterford Fenniscourt 1.1 is one of the first whiskies in which the Irish barley was kilned over Irish peat - but unfortunately in Scotland and not Ireland. Waterford Fenniscourt 1.1 matured in First Fill American Oak Casks, Premium French Oak Casks, Virgin American Oak Casks and Sautneres and Oloroso Casks so Vin Doux Naturel (VDN) barrels.
