Hershey, Pennsylvania is well known for two things: Chocolate and a Theme Park! But for those interested in history, and in particular Historic Figures, the name Milon Hershey should rank pretty high too.
Everything in Hershey started as the result of Milton Hershey's vision of a what a Company town should look like. The result, over a hundred years later, is a town that proudly celebrates Mr. Hershey's name (and he is referred to as "Mr. Hershey").
We are visiting Hershey Gardens, which was started by Mrs. Hershey as her Rose Garden, and Chocolate World which has replaced the Factory Tours. We ride the Hershey Trolley and take the History Tour. And the constant is always "Chocolate"!
