Fusion 360 tutorial (workflow comparison using Parametric and Direct Modeling)

When we design a model using Fusion 360, there are two main design procedures called direct modeling and parametric modeling. The direct modeling method is like an old-style modeling method that is suitable for bottom-up workflow. It is easy, flexible, and uses fewer computer sources. Also, it is easy to use parts from other designed models. But when you make modifications to the model it becomes complicated. On the other hand, with parametric modeling, you will need to make a plan before design and use much more computer sources. It is suitable for a top-down design workflow that makes all changes easy. You can change the parameters that used in your design and get the final model accordingly. But it will also cause difficulty to use the parts for the other project.
Between I will call hybrid design that you don't use parameters and still can change them in design. But it may cause unstable for the computer since you did not consider the details before design. How to select design workflow is depending on your design ideas or the computer hardware. Choice it wisely. This is a very simple tool for fix the plant in your garden. You can change the parameter diameter to fit your bar. There is still a little issue at the last part that making a round shape surface. Modify it as you wish.
