ᴴᴰ⁶⁰ ᴴᴰᴿ NYC Subway: R68/As temporarily makes a return to the (G) Line (January 2025)

After multiple R160s from Jamaica Yard experienced flat wheels from a "mysterious track defect", many of the R160s that were on the (G) were shifted to the (E) (F) & (R) lines, while the ones that experienced the aforementioned were sent to Concourse or 207 St Yard for wheel truing. This led to a major fleet shortage, which caused many R68 & R68As from Concourse and Coney Island Yard to be loaned to the (G). These trains have never touched the Crosstown Line in passenger service, so seeing SMEEs back on the (G) like the good old times was something I never thought would happen again.
