In this video, we explore the three-schema architecture, a framework that separates database systems into three distinct levels: the internal, conceptual, and external schemas.
Internal Schema: This level is concerned with the physical storage of data. It defines how data is stored on disk and the data structures used to access it efficiently.
Conceptual Schema: This middle layer provides a community view of the entire database. It defines what data is stored, the relationships among the data, and the constraints on the data, without delving into how it is physically stored.
External Schema: Also known as user views, this layer provides different representations of the data tailored for various users or applications. It allows users to interact with the data in a way that suits their needs without affecting the underlying database structure.
