In this webinar on April 30, 2025, hosted by Innovations for Poverty Action, Xavier Gine (World Bank) and Brian Mwesigwa (IPA) provided a high-level overview of the results for Year 2 of the Transaction Cost Index (https://poverty-action.org/transactio... ), which builds on the results from Year 1. Ria Zapanta (IPA) then walked through our new Toolkit (https://poverty-action.org/transactio... ), which is designed to help regulators, firms, or researchers who wish to measure consumer costs when using digital financial services. The webinar concluded with a Q&A session allowing participants to discuss findings with the research team. The webinar was moderated by William Blackmon (IPA).
