Milford to West Haven Station on Shore Line East 1640

We are on Shore Line East Train 1640, the express from Stamford to new Haven, local from New Haven to New London, where we ride from Milford to the newest station in the Metro North and CDOT family, which is West Haven. This station opened up on August 18th, 2013. Just to clear up any confusion, I am standing outside of the cab and looking through two sets of windows from the coach itself out the front of the train. The crew knew I was here and had no problem with my doing this. Today, 1640 consists of Mafersa cab car 1705 with 3 additional Mafersa coaches and Genesis P40DC 838 shoving from the rear. Enjoy the view as we ride from Milford and pull into the brand new station in West Haven, as well as actually hearing a verbal announcement, and the nice sounding horn of the 1705.
