My favorite part of the legendary 5.8.77 Barton Hall show is Phil's bassline to open "Scarlet Begonias." But it's even more interesting to see that swooping melodic line gradually develop into the Cornell line, and then start to get incorporated in bits and pieces as the shows went on.
