August came with its own new rush of chaos. My parents home flooded AGAIN . This is the 3rd time in my life this has happened and it will be the last .BUT this was the FIRST time I was in charge as they were out of town when it happened. This means the week before school started we had 2 kids 3 dogs while managing a major house remediation until they made it back to town. Everything can and will be fixed but it’s a long messy road and very destabilizing . Our family is tough and we tend to take these kind of hits in stride but man what a freaking bummer 😭 everyoens safe and healthy and after having 3 dogs for 10 days we have been inspired to get a sibling for Duckie. Take the good with the bad happy with the sad and laugh it off 🤦🏻♀️
