Silly Venture 2025 WE Live Mix | 2025-11-21 // by JFSO aka Jess Lysen // MC-707

I've been away from my channel for some time because I was traveling abroad and preparing a Live Performance for Silly Venture 2025 Winter Edition party, held in Gdansk, on November 21st, 2025.

This party reunites Atari enthusiasts, "Demosceners" as we call them, from the Atari Demoscene, which I've been a member since the early 90ies, and where attendants present their digital creation during various categorized competitions.

To this occasion, I was proposed to entertain the audience with a Live mix around Atari ST famous chiptune tracks from many famous composers who shaped the musical vibe of that community. I partnered with Adrien Dangha (a.k.a A.D. / HMD^MPS), another French musician and performer, to create a collaborative set.

During this performance, I'm using a Roland MC-707, with samples, loops, effect etc., while Adrien is playing Atari ST chiptune files on his Ableton DAW and tweaking knobs on his control surface.

The whole mix lasts more than 2hrs, this video is only a few extracts where I perform solo most of the time.

I dedicate this to the lost ones.
