Trailer for the upcoming documentary "Kata."
Sensei Robert Hunt, who is the Author of "The Art and the Way" and has over 50 years in traditional martial arts, shares some of his insight on the importance and history of Kata.
This film, along with the companion documentary "Kobudo" will be the first films to go in depth on the history as well as the importance of Kata and Kobudo.
The films will be a resource for those being interviewed to share their years of knowledge and to give insight to future generations of martial artists on topics that are so integral to Karate.
Both films will feature interviews with over a dozen highly regarded senior Yudansha form a variety of different traditional styles both from the United States as well as on Okinawa.
