ORIGINAL Jabba the Hutt DELETED SCENE (Best Quality) | Star Wars

During the production of Star Wars (1977), a scene was shot featuring Han Solo and Jabba the Hutt. Though Jabba had a stand-in actor played by Declan Mullholland, the scene was ultimately cut from the final version of the film.

In 1997, for the film's special edition re-release, the scene was reinserted with a CGI Jabba the Hutt, as well as Green Screen'ed Boba Fett.

The original cut of this scene has never been released in its full form or in high quality. This is an HD Reconstruction created by Garrett Gilchrist (creator of the Classic Editions, and Star Wars: Deleted Magic) which used the 2011 Blu-Ray as a base. This represents the highest quality version of the scene to date.
