Starting out can feel like an endless journey. Often, where you think you'll end up isn't your final destination. The path that led me to filmmaking felt like a proverbial valley of the shadow of death at certain points, yet I kept going. This was a "simamisha dunia nishuke" kinda situation for me. But I am glad I held on.☺
Matrid Nyaga directed or produced the first film I was featured in (Dreams of Tomorrow, Mugoiri Girls' High School)
Mimo got me my first TV acting job and eventually into the film industry (Probably mention her a lot)
Collins Oching has continuously behaved professionally as a casting director.
Mr David Mikira, my primary school music festival trainer and headteacher (2008), who, by the way, trained my nieces this year. Almost two decades later.
(There will be very many acknowledgements as I go. Because community is everything.
