This video shows how to use the ABC Birds of Africa App in the field, helping you to identify nearly 2800 species of Birds recorded in Africa. The App contains several Photos of each species as well as Calls, Maps, Similar Species and large amounts of useful information about the Bird Description, Habitat, Food, Breeding and Migration as well.
It also lets you build up your own database of sightings of birds you see and also shows whether the bird you are currently looking at is In Range or Out of Range (as well as how many km out of range it is)
The video also interviews several bird-watchers in Kenya and finds out their thoughts on using the app which is FREE to download on both Android and iOS devices
